Quality Policy

This is the Quality Policy for Castel Malawi Limited sites; Castel Malawi Brewery Limited, Southern Bottlers and Malawi Distilleries Limited.

Beverage brands and services supplied by Castel Malawi Limited (LTD) shall be acknowledged by our customers, consumers and the society in general to be of the highest obtainable international standard of quality. To meet this, Castel Malawi LTD is committed to the following principles:
  1. Fulfillment of requirements stipulated or implied by Castel Group, Castel Malawi LTD, The Coca-Cola Company, customers and consumers, regulatory bodies, statutory bodies and other interested parties.
  2. Provision of resources and encouraging participation and promotion of quality responsibilities amongst all employees and third parties through standards, education, training and coaching, collaboration and effective communication.
  3. Communicating and making this policy visible to all employees and stakeholders as applicable.
The effectiveness of this policy shall be measured by the following objectives:
  1. The provision of beverage brands and services that are a reflection of Customer and Consumer focus, Excellence, Teamwork, Leadership, and Accountability
  2. Operating a Quality Management System which as a minimum, satisfies the requirements of ISO 9001.
This policy shall be reviewed annually or whenever there are changes by management in accordance with ISO 9001 Standard for continual improvement, adequacy, suitability and effectiveness.
